Brittle or Weak Hair

Hair becomes brittle when its cuticle and scales lose elasticity. With the cuticle poorly protected, combing and styling produce friction which contributes to further weakening and breaking of the hair.
Too frequently applied common cosmetic procedures, permanent waving, bleaching, and dyeing all damage the hair to some extent and make it brittle. Too dark hair cannot be dyed blond. What do we do if the hair turns out orange? We repeat the treatment until the desired result is obtained.
Sometimes we leave the chemicals longer than the manufacturer recommends. Doing this, we risk severe damage to the hair to the extent that the cuticle cannot recover.
What to do when your hair is weak:

1. Always handle your hair gently, particularly wet hair which is weaker.
2. Learn how to properly style and dry your hair.
3. Invest in high-quality styling tools to minimize damage (poor quality styling tools may damage the scalp and hair surface).
4. Protect your hair from direct sunlight.
5. Take special care of chemically treated hair.
6. Use conditioners which preserve natural moisture of the hair
.7. Don’t use rough rubber bands to tie your hair – they make it brittle. Do not tie your hair tight.
8. Use hair pins or barrettes instead of rubber bands to protect your hair from breaking.
9. Condition your hair carefully.
10. Broken hair may be disguised by applying some hair spray, cream, or mousse to your hands and working it in.
